Michael Conforto Is 100 Percent
6 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto (concussion) is back to "100 percent," he said on Friday. He expects to come off the seven-day injured list either Saturday or Sunday, as soon as the league approves him. “I feel ready to go,” Conforto said. “But we’re going to be smart about it.” Conforto restarted full baseball activities on Friday, taking batting practice with teammates. He was hitting .271 with nine home runs and a .926 OPS in 42 games before his head injury. Return him to lineups in all leagues when he makes his return. J.D. Davis has been playing left field mainly with Conforto out, but he'll go back to somewhat of a timeshare at third base with Todd Frazier.
