Rehab Updates On Lonnie Chisenhall, Corey Dickerson
6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Lonnie Chisenhall (calf, finger) is away from his minor league rehab assignment for non-injury reasons, according to manager Clint Hurdle. Outfielder Corey Dickerson (shoulder) is scheduled to throw to the bases on Tuesday. Chisenhall hasn't played since May 15, so it's obviously a concern as he tries to work his way back to make his season debut. He'll likely be in a platoon role in a corner outfield spot against right-handed hitters whenever he makes his return. Dickerson had just 13 at-bats before landing on the injured list this year, but he's getting close to a rehab assignment. Keep an eye on him in deep mixed and NL-only leagues.
