Shohei Ohtani Throwing Four Times A Week
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels designated hitter Shohei Ohtani (elbow), who is recovering from Tommy John surgery last October, is now throwing four times a week instead of three times. However, he still won't pitch at all in 2019 and is only throwing on flat ground and not at full intensity. In 48 at-bats this year, Ohtani is hitting .250 (12-for-48) with two home runs and eight RBI. He'll be plenty useful for his power/speed combination as a hitter in fantasy leagues after winning American League Rookie of the Year in 2018.
