J.A. Happ Struggles Vs O's Again
6 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher J.A. Happ gave up six earned runs in 3 2/3 innings Monday night in Baltimore. Happ has now faced the Orioles four times this season and given up 15 earned runs in 17 1/3 innings vs one of the league's worst offenses. He's failed to complete the sixth inning in any of his starts vs Baltimore. This isn't to say Happ has been great vs the other teams he's faced as his ERA is now 5.16 with a FIP over five and a half. Happ has been good in recent years but this season he is simply not a must-own fantasy option. Despite the struggles, he's still a decent streaming option in deeper leagues next time out at Kansas City. The Royals have the fourth worst team on-base percentage against left-handed pitching.
