Daniel Vogelbach Finds The Bleachers Ending Two-Week Drought
6 years agoSeattle Mariners designated hitter Daniel Vogelbach hit a solo shot off of Indians starter Carlos Carrasco for his ninth dinger of the year on Saturday. He finished the day going 1-for-4 with two strikeouts as his game has expectedly normalized after a torrid start to his season. Vogelbach is batting just .139 over his last 11 games since he last hit a home run and is now hitting .288 on the season. The 26-year-old has consistently found playing time on a crowded Mariners roster which keeps the left-handed slugger fantasy relevant. Vogelbach may not maintain a strong batting average this year, but his power will keep his fantasy status afloat.
