6 years agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Miguel Sano (heel) will start a rehab assignment with Single-A Fort Myers on Tuesday while recovering from a right heel laceration. The power hitter missed all of spring training after cutting his foot falling down metal steps in the Dominican Republic. Sano is expected to slowly build himself up and will also play at Double-A and Triple-A on a lengthy assignment. He hit just .199 with 13 home runs in 71 games for the Twins last year and was sent to the minors, but he still has considerable power upside and is worth stashing in mixed leagues if you're in need of some pop.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
