Freddy Galvis Out Of The Lineup Again On Wednesday
6 years agoToronto Blue Jays shortstop Freddy Galvis (hamstring) will miss his second straight contest on Wednesday night against Drew Pomeranz and the San Francisco Giants. Blue Jays manager Charlie Montoyo mentioned that "there is some concern" Galvis will have to go on the 10-day injured list. That would be problematic for the Blue Jays as Galvis has arguably been their best bat to date. He owns a .311 average with five home runs and 12 RBI through 90 at-bats. If he does indeed miss an extended amount of time, Richard Urena will get more action while prospect Cavan Biggio is a possible replacement.
