6 years agoTampa Bay Rays designated hitter Ji-Man Choi was absent from Tuesday's lineup due to a personal matter but has been activated off of the restricted list ahead of Wednesday's contest against Jakob Junis and the Kansas City Royals. Andrew Velazquez was optioned to Triple-A Durham in a corresponding move. Yandy Diaz is getting the start at DH, but Choi will be available off of the bench.
