6 years agoAfter taking his first swings since he landed on the injured list with a biceps strain last week, New York Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton took another step forward Wednesday. The 29-year-old took swings off a baseball machine "with intensity," according to manager Aaron Boone. Having successfully taken that step, it appears he's pulling closer towards a return, although the club is unsure whether he'll be able to return in time for the upcoming trip to the west coast, which kicks off Monday in Anaheim.--RDelgado
