6 years agoLos Angeles Angels first baseman Albert Pujols is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday. Justin Bour is at first base and is hitting third, while Mike Trout remains at designated hitter and will bat second against Rangers starter Lance Lynn. The Angels are easing Trout in after he missed some games last week with a groin injury. Besides, Pujols isn't exactly lighting the world on fire (.216 average, two homers, seven RBI). Bour has hit even worse (.186, one homer, five RBI), so he's one to avoid in daily lineups despite his power potential. Pujols and Bour should be playing every day again once Trout returns to center field full time, which could be any day now.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
