Adam Shaheen Could Be More Of Blocking Tight End
6 years agoChicago Bears tight end Adam Shaheen, who has appeared in just 19 of a possible 32 regular season games during his career due to injury, could be in line for more blocking duties in 2019. He could see more time as the "Y" blocker now that Dion Sims is no longer with the team. Shaheen can also create mismatches in the red zone, but Trey Burton is the team's primary pass-catching tight end, giving Shaheen limited fantasy upside. Chicago could elect to draft another in-line blocking tight end to help Shaheen this season.
