Jacob deGrom Rocked In Unusual Performance
6 years agoLooking to break his quality-starts streak with Hall of Famer Bob Gibson, New York Mets ace Jacob deGrom was handed an ugly loss Tuesday night at Citi Field. The defending Cy Young winner only managed to go four innings, surrendering six runs on eight hits and serving up three home runs. The 30-year-old only walked one and struck out three but was tagged with his first loss of the season. This will hopefully be a fluke outing, with deGrom next scheduled to pitch Sunday night against the Atlanta Braves.
