Brandon Nimmo Slumping
6 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo was given the day off to clear his head on Sunday, although he later entered the game and finished 1-for-3 with two of his four hardest-hit balls of the season. After Sunday, his average was up to .103 with a 47 percent strikeout rate. He has been having trouble hitting high fastballs and low offspeed pitches. Nimmo is in a bad slump to start the year and is probably worth benching in deep mixed leagues, but he should remain an everyday outfielder and can easily bounce back.
