6 years agoLos Angeles Angels designated hitter Shohei Ohtani (elbow) hit in the cage and threw from up to 50 feet on flat ground on Monday. Ohtani continues to go through his progression after undergoing Tommy John surgery last October. He will not pitch at all in 2019, but the Angels and fantasy owners are hoping to having him available as a DH sometime in May.
