Clayton Kershaw Feeling Better
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw (shoulder) threw an encouraging 20-pitch bullpen session of all fastballs on Monday and said he "felt great." Pitching coach Rick Honeycutt won't speculate on a timetable for Kershaw to pitch in a game, but the left-hander is likely to throw another bullpen in two or three days. Kershaw dealt with injuries last year and saw his fastball velocity drop, causing many owners to be concerned heading into 2019. Despite him being behind this spring, manager Dave Roberts isn't ruling out Kershaw being ready for Opening Day. Even if Kershaw is ready to go to start the regular season, there's considerably more risk around him as a fantasy ace.
