Sean Couturier Extends Point Streak To Five Games
6 years agoPhiladelphia Flyers center Sean Couturier recorded an assist to help lead his team to a 3-2 victory against the Ottawa Senators on Monday. While extending his personal point streak to five games, the 26-year-old also finished the contest with a game-high eight shots on goal and led all Flyers with 25 minutes and 20 seconds of ice time. Couturier continues to prove that his 76-point campaign last year was no fluke as the Arizona-born center now has 65 points (28 goals, 37 assists) to go along with a plus-11 rating and 188 shots on goal through 67 games. Heralded for his excellent defensive play, Couturier's fantasy value is finally starting to catch up to the immense value he provides to the Flyers on a nightly basis. With the Flyers closing out the week with three games in four days, make sure Couturier is locked into lineups starting Thursday against the Capitals.
