6 years agoThe Seattle Mariners are working to finalize a trade for Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Domingo Santana. The Brewers have a crowded outfield and barely used Santana in 2018, as he hit .265/.328/.412 with five homers and 20 RBI in just 211 at-bats. He spent a lot of time in the minor leagues. The Mariners have Jay Bruce, Ben Gamel, Mitch Haniger and Mallex Smith in their current outfield, but Santana would have a much better chance for consistent playing time. He's only 26 years old still and is only a year removed from 30 homers and 85 RBI, so Santana could be an excellent sleeper target if he's traded and is in line for regular playing time.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
