Jeff Skinner Registers His 25th Goal On Tuesday
6 years agoBuffalo Sabres forward Jeff Skinner potted his 25th goal of the young season in his team's 5-2 loss to the Florida Panthers on Tuesday. With the tally, Skinner surpassed his entire 2017-2018 goal output and did it in just 35 games this time around. Ever since arriving to Buffalo in a trade over the offseason, Skinner has formed almost instant chemistry with superstar Jack Eichel and only sits behind Alex Ovechkin (29) in goals scored this season. He's undoubtedly a must-start option at this point and should shatter his previous career-high of 63 points established in his rookie campaign in 2010-2011. He'll aim to keep rolling against the Capitals on Friday.
