Kareem Hunt Placed On Exempt List
6 years agoThe NFL placed Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt on paid administrative leave on Friday after a video surfaced that shows Hunt pushing and kicking a woman inside a Cleveland hotel from February. He was officially placed on the Commissioner's Exempt List. Hunt will not be allowed to practice with the team or attend games while on the list, and he will remain there until the league decides whether to suspend him. He will have three days to appeal being placed on the exempt list. Hunt has not been arrested or charged with a crime from the incident, but there's still a good chance he will not play at all the rest of the season. He could be facing a six-game suspension to open up next season. Hunt will not play in Week 13 against the Raiders. Spencer Ware will now be the lead back and is likely to keep that role through the end of this season.
