Jeff Driskel Plays Well Off The Bench
6 years agoCincinnati Bengals quarterback Jeff Driskel was forced to come in and start for Andy Dalton (thumb) during Sunday's loss to the Browns. Dalton left early during Week 12 after suffering a sprained thumb while diving for a ball. Driskel played surprisingly well in the absence of Dalton. He went 17-for-29 with 155 passing yards and a touchdown. Dalton's status for Week 13 is uncertain, so Driskel could draw the start against the Broncos. He won't be anything more than a risky QB2 if he gets the start.
