Trey Burke Provides Season-High Scoring Output On Sunday
6 years agoNew York Knicks guard Trey Burke provided his second straight game scoring over 20 points in the Knicks 131-117 road loss. Burke was magnificent from the field, scoring a season-high 31 points on 11-for-20 shooting while adding in three rebounds, two assists, two steals and one three-pointer. The 26-year-old has been a player that has sporadically picked up the dreaded "did not play - coach's decision" label lately and shouldn't be viewed as anything other than someone with a hot hand right now. If you have a droppable player and want to see if he can continue his recent form, go for it. But it is most likely going to amount to very little.
