6 years agoWashington Capitals center Nicklas Backstrom had the overtime winner and added an assist during a 3-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche on Friday night. Backstrom was moved up to a line with Alex Ovechkin as Evgeny Kuznetsov (upper body) missed the game. Backstrom is incredibly consistent as a fantasy asset. He has five goals, 17 assists, and 12 power-play points through his first 19 games. The Swedish pivot has scored at least 70 points in each of his past five seasons.
