Jets Releasing Terrelle Pryor
6 years agoThe New York Jets are releasing wide receiver Terrelle Pryor (groin) on Saturday, according to a league source. Pryor is dealing with a tear in his groin and is expected to be out around two weeks. The team is interested in re-signing him when he's healthy, but other teams will likely be interested in him as well. Pryor had touchdowns in the last two games for Gang Green but caught only 14 passes on 22 targets for 235 yards in six games. He can be left to the waiver wire for now. In his absence and with Quincy Enunwa (ankle) out a few weeks, Robby Anderson and Jermaine Kearse will be the top two wideouts. Kearse is the more attractive fantasy option, especially in PPR leagues. Charone Peake and Andre Roberts should fill in on three-receiver sets.
