Chris Sale Picks Up Eight Strikeouts In Game 1 Win
6 years agoBoston Red Sox ace Chris Sale went 5 1/3 innings, allowing two runs on five hits in a Game 1 victory over the New York Yankees. The perennial All-Star struck out eight batters while walking two. This was the first postseason win of Sale's career. He will be available to start Game 5 if the series reaches that point. Sale was cruising up until a hiccup in the sixth inning, but he still looked dominant on the mound. He is a superb DFS play whenever he's slated to pitch this postseason.
