Broncos Want To Get Royce Freeman More Touches
6 years agoDenver Broncos head coach Vance Joseph said he wants to get rookie running back Royce Freeman more touches moving forward. "He needs more opportunities because he is playing good football," Joseph said. Freeman is averaging a healthy 5.0 yards per carry on 44 attempts through four games, and he also has touchdowns in each of his last three games. His arrow is pointing up, and if he indeed gets the ball more, it'll hurt fellow impressive rookie runner Phillip Lindsay. Freeman remains on the RB3/flex radar for now heading into Week 5 against the Jets.
