6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler wasn't able to shine in the backfield like he normally does, but to make up for it, he snagged a critical touchdown pass to keep LA in the game against the Niners. Ekeler usually operates as the big gainer when he subs in for Melvin Gordon, but the script was flipped on Sunday as Gordon posted an impressive 6.9 YPC while Ekeler only racked up 3.1 YPC in his chances. That said, Ekeler's TD catch once again shows that even though he's second fiddle, he'll get some chances in just about every game.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
