6 years agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Michael Fulmer (knee) underwent successful surgery to fix a meniscus tear in his right knee on Thursday, and he's expected to be ready for the start of spring training in 2019. Fulmer was a big disappointment for fantasy owners this year, going 3-12 with a 4.69 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 7.5 K/9 across 24 starts. It's safe to say that he won't be high on many owners' fantasy boards going into next season.
