Seahawks Secondary Could Be Vulnerable
6 years agoSeattle Seahawks cornerback Shaquill Griffin (thigh) was added to the injury report on Friday with a thigh injury and didn't practice. Middle linebacker Bobby Wagner (groin) also sat out the second straight day with a groin issue. Also, guard D.J. Fluker (hamstring), linebacker K.J. Wright (knee) and wide receiver Doug Baldwin (knee) seem unlikely to play on Monday against the Bears. With cornerback Tre Flowers (hamstring) missing a second straight day of practice, Seattle's secondary could be without their top two corners on Monday night. Corners Justin Coleman, Akeem King and Neiko Thorpe could be pressed into service. That'd be good news for Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky and his receivers, namely Allen Robinson and Taylor Gabriel.
