Mike Evans Could Take Advantage of Size Sunday
6 years agoBuccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans has a distinct size advantage over Philadelphia's cornerbacks this weekend. Evans typically has a size advantage over most secondaries, however, Philadelphia's corners have been the weak spot in their defense in recent history. Rasul Douglas is the Eagles' only starting corner over six-feet tall and he is one of the weaker links on their defense. Unless Evans gets doubled regularly (which is possible if DeSean Jackson isn't available) he should have the advantage when going up to get balls this weekend against Ronald Darby or Jalen Mills. The matchup overall isn't too favorable given that Philadelphia will give Ryan Fitzpatrick trouble getting the ball out, but Evans will at least have a good shot at a solid line. He's a must-start every week and could be fruitful this coming Sunday.
