John Ross Quiet On Thursday
6 years agoCincinnati Bengals wide receiver John Ross was irrelevant from a fantasy perspective on Thursday in the win over the Baltimore Ravens, finishing the night with an underwhelming eight yards off of a lone reception and one rush for negative yardage. Despite having high expectations coming into the season, the sophomore receiver has yet to contribute outside of the touchdown he caught in Week 1 against the Colts. Throughout the first two games, he has been targeted only six times by quarterback Andy Dalton, catching just two passes. Until he can demonstrate that he is capable of being relevant in the Bengals' offense and not just a deep threat, he should be left on the bench or even worse (or better) yet, dropped, especially if you are able to replace him with wide receiver Tyler Boyd.
