6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa (foot), who will miss Week 2 against the Bills, is not expected to need surgery on his injured foot, which is a new injury from the one that held him out of the preseason. However, Bosa is week-to-week and seems likely to miss Week 3 against the Rams and possibly beyond. The good news is that he won't go under the knife and isn't currently a candidate for the Injured Reserve. The bad news is that the Chargers defense doesn't have as much upside without their best player on the field. LA's defense/special teams remains a top unit, however, against the Bills this weekend.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
