Kyle Rudolph Could Continue To Be Quiet In Week 2
6 years agoMinnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph was only targeted twice in Week 1 against the San Francisco 49ers. While the single pass he caught was for a touchdown, it does not bode well for Rudolph's value going forward. Kirk Cousins has loved his tight ends throughout his career, and offensive coordinator John DeFilippo has always heavily utilized the position in his schemes. Both of these situations seem beneficial for Rudolph, but until his targets increase he is a touchdown or bust fantasy play. He could continue to be quiet in Week 2 against a Green Bay Packers secondary that only allowed one catch to Trey Burton in Week 1. Even still, fantasy owners should remain patient and see how the game plays out as Rudolph has been one of the best red-zone producers in the league over the past few seasons.
