DeSean Jackson Headlines Bucs Missing Practice
6 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver DeSean Jackson (concussion, shoulder) did not practice on Wednesday. Also not practicing were rookie defensive tackle Vita Vea, cornerback Brent Grimes and defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul. Jackson must pass the concussion protocol in order to practice this week, but with a shoulder injury on top of it, he's looking highly questionable for Week 2 against the Eagles. Make sure you have other options in case he can't play. It's a disappointment after he went off for over 100 yards and two scores in Week 1. If Jackson can't play, it'll mean more work for Chris Godwin and Adam Humphries and for tight ends Cameron Brate and O.J. Howard. Godwin would be a worthy flex play.
