Quincy Enunwa The Top Target Monday Night
6 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Quincy Enunwa, who missed all of last year with a neck injury, was rookie quarterback Sam Darnold's top target in the Monday night win over the Lions, catching six passes for 63 yards and a touchdown. Enunwa broke out in 2016, catching 58 passes for 857 yards and four touchdowns. He saw a team-high 10 targets from Darnold. No other player on the team had more than three targets, with Robby Anderson earning just one target, which he converted into a touchdown. While Anderson won't just have one target every game, it's a good sign that Darnold looked Enunwa's way early and often. He might have the highest floor of any Jets receiver this year and should be picked up immediately if he's on the waiver wire. The return of injured Jermaine Kearse shouldn't really affect Enunwa's value moving forward.
