6 years agoNew England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski resisted a potential trade during the offseason when he was away from the team and considering retirement, according to sources. He told the Patriots that he would rather retire than play for another team. The two sides agreed on a reworked deal with incentives to keep him happy as well. The Patriots consider Gronk year-to-year at this point, so there's no guarantee he'll play beyond the 2018 season. Although injury-prone, he remains the best fantasy tight end out there.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
