6 years agoMinnesota Vikings offensive coordinator John DeFilippo was coy on whether running back Dalvin Cook will be on a pitch count in Week 1 against the 49ers. "We’re not sure yet. We’re going to see how it goes. There’s nothing that hasn’t told us that he can’t carry the load. If there’s something that during the game that comes up where he needs a blow or needs to come out of the game then we’ll handle that situation...If that does arise where he needs a break, we’re confident in all the guys that we’re able to put in the football game," DeFilippo said.
