Terence Newman Announces Retirement
6 years agoMinnesota Vikings cornerback Terence Newman announced his retirement on Saturday. He was set to enter his 16th professional season, but instead he will join the team's coaching staff immediately. Newman spent nine of his 15 seasons playing for head coach Mike Zimmer. The soon-to-be 40-year-old entered the league in 2003 as the fifth overall pick for the Cowboys.
