6 years agoThe Washington Nationals continue to dangle starting pitcher Gio Gonzalez and have had trade talks with at least one team, according to a source. With Washington unlikely to make the postseason this year, it makes sense to try and get something for Gonzalez before he hits free agency. The left-hander has been bad in the second half, going 1-5 with a 6.55 ERA in eight starts. On the year, he is 7-11 with a 4.57 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 7.8 K/9 (his lowest since 2010 with Oakland).
