Frank Gore 2018 Player Outlook: Grizzled Veteran Moves To Miami
6 years agoMiami Dolphins running back Frank Gore will play for the third team of his career in what will be his age-35 season. Gore has been quite the outlier over his career, having not missed a game in seven seasons despite playing one of the most injury-prone positions in sports. He finds himself in a crowded backfield that will feature 2017 breakout back Kenyan Drake and 2018 draft pick Kalen Ballage. It is unclear how head coach Adam Gase and the offensive coaching staff will split the workload between the three players for the upcoming season. As of now, it appears that Gore's 2018 fantasy contribution will be siphoning value away from Drake as opposing to holding much value of his own. Gore can go undrafted in standard-sized leagues this season as he will probably need an injury to Drake to have fantasy relevance.
