Jeremy Hellickson Injured Wednesday
6 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Jeremy Hellickson (wrist) exited his start early on Wednesday with an injury to his right wrist. Hellickson injured himself after throwing a wild pitch and covering home plate. The veteran right-hander had allowed three hits and two earned runs while walking two and striking out two in 4 1/3 innings against the Cardinals before his exit. We'll know about the severity of his injury after the game or on Thursday. Hellickson is 5-2 on the year with a 3.57 ERA and weak 6.52 K/9, but he's been a streaming option against weaker opponents in deeper leagues.
