Jared Cook 2018 Outlook: Sleeper at Tight End
6 years agoJared Cook may not be the most exciting player to draft, but he is positioned to be one of the best values at tight end. With wide receiver Martavis Bryant struggling in camp, Cook could be the team's second or third receiving option behind Amari Cooper and aging veteran Jordy Nelson. Coming off a 54 catch, 688 yard 2017 that saw him finish as TE12, Cook could see similar, or even better numbers in 2018. The Raiders had one of the league's most disappointing offenses last year, and should bounce back under new head coach Jon Gruden. Cook is routinely being drafted outside the top-15 tight ends, or sometimes not even at all, and could be one of the biggest steals at the position in 2018 fantasy leagues.
