Richard Sherman Comes Up Lame Friday
6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman (hamstring) was injured in practice on Friday, and head coach Kyle Shanahan said Sherman's hamstring tightened up on him. Sherman should be alright, but it's a reminder that the 30-year-old played in only nine games last year due to a ruptured Achilles and may be becoming more injury-prone as he ages. He's still a top-tier corner in the league when healthy, though, and before last year he'd played in all 16 games in each of his six previous seasons.
