D.J. Moore 2018 Outlook: The Rookie Isn't In The Best Situation
6 years agoRookie wide receiver D.J. Moore should find the path to the number two receiver job in Carolina fairly open heading into this season, but Cam Newton has not traditionally been a quarterback capable of sustaining multiple fantasy relevant receivers, putting a cap on Moore's overall value this season as he plays behind Devin Funchess and tight end Greg Olsen. If Olsen struggles to return to form after an injury-riddled 2017 campaign, Moore has a path to consistent targets, but otherwise expect him to have a streaky rookie season. He's a great dynasty pick and has value in MFL10s, but his re-draft value isn't at the same level as other players around his ADP.
