6 years agoTampa Bay Rays catcher Wilson Ramos (hamstring) has been officially placed on the 10-day disabled list as of Wednesday. Ramos is expected to be sidelined for the remainder of July. Jesus Sucre is expected to see a bulk of the playing time behind the plate, while Ramos is sidelined. The Rays will need to call up another catcher to backup Sucre before Friday. Ramos is one of the biggest trade chips in this years trade deadline, but the Rays might need to wait until August to move him.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
