O.J. Howard 2018 Outlook: Tampa Bay's Top Tight End
6 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers second-year tight end O.J. Howard enters the 2018 season looking to knock Cameron Brate off from atop the team's depth chart. Brate has been a solid fantasy option for the past few years, but Howard - who pulled in 26 passes for 432 yards and six touchdowns last season - has the skill-set to emerge as the team's number one option come the beginning of the regular season. In 2017, Howard had 50 or more receiving yards in three of his last five games and emerged as a great option down the field for Tampa Bay. 324 of his 432 yards came in situations where there were 10 or more yards to go for the first down, but the rookie also had three touchdown catches in the red zone, showing that he can be a versatile option for the Buccaneers and for fantasy teams. With an ADP that puts him as the TE15 right now, Howard has a ton of upside.
