Garrett Celek 2018 Outlook: Will They Or Won't They
6 years agoWhile coming off a career year which saw him catch 21 passes for 336 yards and four touchdowns, Garrett Celek is not going to be fantasy relevant in 2018 unless the 49ers utilize a two tight end game plan like the Patriots did with Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez in New England. While this could be done as Jimmy Garoppolo came from learning under this system behind Tom Brady, George Kittle is in the fold as the starting tight end for Garoppolo. Celek will there for be relegated to a backup role and a blocking downs tight end making him a no draft in redraft leagues and at 30 years of age, not viable for dynasty consideration at this point in time either.
