Trey Mancini Picks Up Two Extra-Base Hits Sunday
6 years agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman/outfielder Trey Mancini has a strong day at the plate Sunday against the Blue Jays, going 2-for-4 with a double and a solo home run. The blast to straightaway center field came off of Marco Estrada in the second inning. Mancini also made a leaping catch against the left-field wall to round out his day. The 26-year-old has had a very slow June, batting just .241 with a whopping 13 strikeouts. He should still be rostered in dynasty leagues because of the promise he showed last season, but Mancini can be dropped for more appealing waiver wire players in shallower leagues, especially because of his tough upcoming series against the Red Sox.
