Andrew Miller Forced to Leave With Hamstring Tightness
7 years agoCleveland Indians relief pitcher Andrew Miller was forced to leave Wednesday's game due to tightness in his hamstring. Miller was only able to throw two pitches before he came up holding his leg. He'll undergo an MRI soon to determine the extent of the injury, but Cleveland manager Terry Francona is making it seem like a minor issue. He mentioned that Miller had a similar injury in the past and just needed a couple of days off before being able to come back just fine. Miller can be considered day-to-day for now, and it doesn't look like a trip to the disabled list will be required.
