Matt Duffy DL Decision A Morning Wait-And-See Situation
7 years agoTampa Bay Rays third baseman Matt Duffy injured his hamstring in the game Monday versus Texas. The Rays are already short-handed, so if Duffy is going to be out at least four to five games, they will probably put him on the disabled list. The main negative of his season so far is the fact that he is not drawing walks. In his last healthy season in 2015, he batted .295 with 12 home runs and 12 stolen bases. Duffy's floor is fairly solid as long as he stays healthy. Duffy just turned 27 years old as the 2018 season started and should be owned in deeper leagues, especially in AL-only formats. While he is out, Daniel Robertson is most likely to benefit.
