Chris Paul Underperforms Against Minnesota
7 years agoHouston Rockets guard Chris Paul had a rough night at the office in Game 1 against the Timberwolves. Paul was relatively quiet on Sunday, scoring only 14 points on a faulty 5-for-14 shooting from the field and an equally unimpressive 1-for-6 shooting from behind the arc. He did manage to dish out eight assists and nab away two steals, but for those who paid up to acquire his services in DFS contests, this performance was a disappointment. Paul didn’t play well against Minnesota during the regular season, averaging just 16 points and a miserable 28 percent from downtown over four meetings during the 2018 campaign. With guard Jeff Teague sporting the best defensive rating against Houston out of anyone on the Timberwolves’ roster, those partaking in DFS contests may want to play it safe and spend their dollars elsewhere on Wednesday night for Game 2.
